Weaves are my specialty.
Having said that, the following montage is of my latest work, with one of my favorite people ♥. As you will see, L has a full head of dense, super strong hair. She had been wearing a relaxer since the 90's and in October of 2010 she decided to break her chemical chains and go natural. But L, like so many (myself included), was and is unwilling to commit to the big chop. With all of that hair, i don't blame her...
So, for the past few months L and i have been weaving her hair up...and with great results. With every take down she gets some kind of intense conditioner (alternating between protein and moisture treatments) and a sweet scalp massage. She is steady growing her hair and most importantly, with this protective style, she's not manipulating her own hair on a daily basis. yay to that!!!
The hair used can be purchased at any beauty supply store and i highly recommend it! Outre Velvet Remi (27 piece, w/2, 4 and 6") comes in a nicely decorated, square, purple and silver box, and costs only $22. Trust and believe that L and i are hair snobs. But this BSS hair right here? wears for 6 weeks with no problem. I'm talking, our last install, L worked out religiously but the hair did not bunch, get clumpy/sticky, or show any adverse affects. As soon we washed it, it looked brand new again.
Anywho...she loves it!

Short, Short Hair...
Ever want to just chop it all off without actually cutting anything? Well, i did...and now regret it. But i digress. The following vid was filmed sometime in March, i think? It's of a quick weave with an invisible part that i did on myself. Let's be clear: there was nothing quick about it. It took longer than my self sew-ins normally do. And i washed it out 4 days later. Milky Way hair is pure D crap. I typed it. Although i loved the look, purchasing any kind of MW hair and repeating this particular application process are two things that i will never do, again.
